Day Trips Terms & Conditions 2018

Cancellation By You:
Day Trips may be cancelled at any time with the following charges:

Day Trip 20% 100%
Theatre Trip 20% + Ticket cost 100%
Trips with inclusions 20% + costs if applicable 100%
Changes to booking £3.00 not allowed
Transfer booking £3.00 not allowed

If We Cancel A Trip

Unfortunately on occasions we are unable to operate day trips that do not attract the required level of bookings to make the tour viable. We will make every effort to ensure this does not occur but should it be necessary this decision will be made before 3 days prior to departure. You will be offered an alternative day trip to transfer to or a full refund will be made.

Responsibility and Motts Holidays

In common with other travel companies Motts Holidays accepts responsibility for any acts or omissions on the part of it’s employee. We do not, however exercise direct control over the day to day running of any other services incorporated in the day. We are therefore unable to accept liability for any act, omission or irregularity caused by services involved in the day.
Should an included attraction be closed due to circumstances beyond our control and we have travelled to that venue, we will not refund any travelling costs but will refund entry/tickets cost assuming that we are able to obtain a refund. if weather conditions are so severe that we are unable to reach a destination we will offer a small discount on another day trip. Should tickets be involved , it may be possible to obtain a refund/credit with the venue for you. We will not be held responsible for the cost of the ticket/entry if this is not possible.

Continental Day Trips – We are unable to accept responsibility for passengers not being in possession of a valid passport at the time of travel.
We will not accept responsibility for your personal belongings left on an unattended vehicle. Please ensure items of value are in your possession at all times.


Passengers are advised to check all the details of their travel ticket to ensure the date, time, joining point and destination are correct. It is your responsibility to ensure you are familiar with your joining point.
Motts Leisure will not be responsible for any expenses caused by passengers arriving late at their joining point and no refunds will be made to passengers who miss the coach.

Pets: No pets allowed other than Assistance Dogs.

NO SMOKING allowed at any time on board.

Lost Property: Telephone 01296 398300 between 10.00-15.00

Child Prices: Under 3 years may be carried on the lap if 2 adults travelling. Children are between3 years-11 years on trips without entrance tickets. Ages vary on tickets for theme parks – please check when booking.

Departure Times from Resort/Venue: Seasides & Theme Parks – 17.30 (when 2 venues are on offer we generally depart from the first one at 17.00 allowing us to depart from the second one at 17.30).
Shopping & special events differ, please check when booking. It is difficult to advise what time you will be dropped back at your joining point as you could be subjected to traffic delays – however on coastal trips we do expect to commence drop off’s at around 20.00.

In line with Government regulations all coach passengers must wear a seat belt at all times.
